WhatsApp Messaging Policy
This page explains how IT HUB Networks uses WhatsApp and other business messaging channels to communicate with customers, prospects, and authorized contacts.
Who sends messages
Messages are sent by IT HUB Networks, a Houston, Texas provider of managed IT, hosting, web, VoIP, SMS/MMS, vFax, and related business technology services. WhatsApp is a communication channel; IT HUB Networks does not sell WhatsApp itself or claim to be affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or WhatsApp.
How recipients opt in
We message people on WhatsApp when they initiate a conversation or provide their mobile number and affirmative permission through a website form, written agreement, service order, support request, event registration, or other clear interaction with IT HUB Networks. The opt-in identifies IT HUB Networks and the types of messages requested. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.
Types of messages
- Responses to inquiries and customer-support conversations.
- Service activation, appointment, installation, outage, security, account, and billing updates.
- Requested quotes, product or service information, and follow-ups.
- Occasional promotional information only for recipients who have consented to marketing messages.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with your requests, account activity, and preferences. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP or send a clear request to stop marketing messages. We will honor the request promptly. You may also use WhatsApp controls to block or report the business. Reply HELP, email support@ithubnetworks.com, or call 888-974-8482 for assistance. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary responses to a request you initiate or essential service and security notices where permitted by law.
Consent records and privacy
We maintain reasonable records of messaging consent and opt-out requests. We do not buy or sell WhatsApp contact lists, and we do not sell or share WhatsApp opt-in data for third-party marketing. Information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Prohibited content and use
IT HUB Networks does not use WhatsApp to offer or facilitate goods, services, or activity prohibited by WhatsApp’s Commerce Policy or applicable law. We prohibit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, adult, exploitative, or unsolicited messaging; attempts to evade review; and messaging involving prohibited or restricted products. Use of our messaging services must comply with our Terms of Service, the official WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Commerce Policy, and applicable law.
Official WhatsApp policy
Review the current WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy. WhatsApp may update that policy, and the official version controls.
Platform notice
WhatsApp is provided by Meta and is governed by Meta’s and WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices. Availability and functionality may be changed, limited, or suspended by those providers.
